Affordable Insurance Direct was founded in 1996 by Elton “Bud” Hall. His vision was to use the business as the vehicle for his passion of serving others. Bud has called South Carolina home for 44 years. He married the love of his life, Lynn, 4 years ago. When he is not in the office, he enjoys mountain hiking and fishing. If you love a hands-on approach with a wonderful, caring agent, he is the agent for you! He loves meeting new people and engaging with them on a one-on-one basis. In 2019 Carolyn Estey joined the AID family as a Customer Service Representitive and then the Office Manager. In early 2023 Carolyn officially became an agent herself. When Carolyn is not in the office you can find her in the kitchen being a phenomenal hostess. Some of her other hobbies include: crocheting, shopping, reading, and organizing. More than anything, she enjoys sharing her love to other people and helping in any way she can. She has been married to her husband Seth for 17 years and has called South Carolina home for 14 years.
